Jessica Carrillo Is Pregnant

The journalist Jessica Carrillo cannot be moved because she can already scream out loud that she is pregnant. The journalist and co-host of Al Rojo Vivo (Telemundo) revealed to People en Español that she is three and a half months pregnant.

"We are happy," says the excited Mexican. "It was super cute."

Also highly anticipated. After two years of trying to get fit and undergo various fertility treatments, the reporter came to think that motherhood probably would not occur.

“The biggest disappointment came when I did the test and nothing. [I was wondering] why isn't it happening, why can't we? The emotional exhaustion is maximum and it is super frustrating in those aspects”, he confesses.

But in December she forgot about the treatments and failed exams, and it was there that she conceived the gift that she now carries in her womb. It was precisely a 1-year-old girl who gave her a hint that she was in the sweet wait.

Carrillo, 35, and her husband Raúl Angeles, 44, were shopping in a store in early February when an unknown girl approached them and pointed at them saying, "Mom and Dad."

"A girl that age doesn't tell mom and dad to anyone other than her parents," Carrillo says excitedly. "Raúl and I were looking at each other and [I said]: 'It is a sign from God, we have to take the [pregnancy] test.'"

However, the couple had a commitment to meet some friends to celebrate Candlemas Day and break the traditional rosca de reyes. There the future mom asked for her second sign.

God, send me a sign. If I take off the monkey, then that's my baby, he asked.

But, surprise! When he broke the thread, he got two little monkeys. It was then that she felt sure that she already had her little one in her womb.

“It arrived at the moment it had to arrive. At the right time, she says.

Until the first two months it had been a perfect pregnancy, but entering the third, Carrillo confesses that he has had nausea, disgust, fatigue and even the desire to cook has stopped. The only cravings have been watermelon and fresh fruit.

“We have waited so long for this moment that sex is the least important to us. Whatever is will be welcome and will be loved with the same affection and the same love that we have for him. We have no preference [boy or girl]. Until now we don't have the instinct that it will be one or the other,”he says.

But the future mom is already preparing with the names. If she was a girl, she could be called Lucia or Elena, while the child's name is reserved for her.

For the moment she is enjoying this long-awaited stage of her life to the fullest, allowing herself to be pampered to the fullest by her husband who does not detach himself from her side.

“He has been super patient in everything. He has been the best husband in the world always and with this even more. I'm sure he will be the best dad”, says the excited future mom.
