Mauricio Ochmann Talks About His Daughters

They say that nothing is like the first time. And for Mauricio Ochmann the rule also applies when it comes to his paternity. The 40-year-old actor is a double father to two little girls: Lorenza, almost 14 years old, and Kailani, born in February.

But did you have the same experiences and emotions with both births? "I've been a dad for 14 years," Ochmann explained exclusively to People en Español. "After Lorenza, my first daughter, came many changes and many internal movements that have helped me grow a lot," she says.

"[My daughter] came to revolutionize and raise awareness to make many changes in my personal life."

And your daughter with Aislinn Derbez ? "With the birth of Kailani come more changes, obviously like being a dad again deepens and invites you to change, to continue growing as a human being."

The adorable little girl came into the world on February 25, and both her mother and her proud father have not stopped sharing beautiful images of their daughter through social networks.

The actor poured out the comments days before visiting a terminally ill melanoma at his Burbank, California home in support of his fight for a dignified death. Ochmann assures that this is a conversation he has had with his family and that if necessary, at a certain point in his life, he wants to die on his own terms.

Ochmann's eldest daughter was the result of his first marriage to Maria José del Valle Prieto. The actor has given his daughter credit for being the woman who saved him from drugs and self-destruction.

“There were many people who loved me but I really didn't want to help me. It happens when my daughter comes into my life and after a year I decide to raise my hand and ask for help,”she told the program The minute that changed my destiny in 2017.
