The weekend ended in tragedy for a young mother and her two young daughters, who were killed in Oklahoma. The girls, who were 5 and 6 years old, and their mother Krystle Easley died Saturday after Russell Cliburn, the woman's ex-boyfriend, shot all three of them. Lawton Police reported that Cliburn was the father of the little sisters, named Emma and Kristo. The possible motive for the crime has not been disclosed. According to investigators, after committing the triple homicide, the man was shot and killed.

Officers who arrived at the bloody scene are reportedly still recovering from the horror of these murders. Family members showed their deep pain by talking to KSWO about the victims. Levi Easley, Krystle's brother, said the family had shown concern in the past about Russell's behavior, but did not imagine that he would be able to kill them. "I never thought this was going to happen to all of them … not at all," he admitted.

The devastated uncle said that his nieces "were full of life." He also nostalgically remembered how Krysto loved to dance and described Emma as the typical girl, who "loved to play with Barbies and color." The uncle added that the little sisters were inseparable. "They held hands, they fought and played, like any normal family," he recalled. "They were so much fun."

The mother worked as a special education teacher at Carriage Hills Elementary School in Lawton. School principal Lesa Sparks assured KSWO that “Krystel was a wonderful person who was never negative. It brought joy to everyone. She touched the lives of her students in an irreplaceable way.” The director concludes that the absence of this beloved teacher has left a great void. The three will be buried together. The family created a GoFundMe account to help with the funeral expenses. May they rest in peace.
