Almost four months after the birth of her son Diego, motherhood has completely changed the life of Ariadne Díaz. "Now the priorities are different," the Mexican actress acknowledged People en Español.
“Things that were important to me before or even had the power to make me sad or angry no longer matter when you understand how unimportant they were compared to having a child. Everything changes already, he stressed.
Although like all new mothers, she has become afraid, Ariadne has tried to put this aside to be able to fully enjoy her baby.
“I think Marcus [his partner] and I are very playful parents. All the time we are doing things and any amount of antics to make him laugh,”said the protagonist of soap operas such as Full of Love, La mujer del Vendaval and La Malquerida.
"Instead of talking to the baby as adults, we end up babbling as he babbles," he explained.
The actress, who turned 30 on August 16, is clear about what kind of mother she wants to be for Diego. “In addition to her mom, I want to be her friend, to be with her, to teach her, to have like a dialogue. Not like some parents who tell their children "well, that's the way it is because that's the way it is," she made it clear.
"I want him to know that he has a friend he can trust in me," she added.
"The other day, for example, [the baby] started crying, I sat him down and said, 'Let's see, you have to stay here a little bit because I'm going to wash your clothes.' And I swear, it seems I'm crazy, but I think he understands me. It is that surely it does understand”, revealed Ariadne.
"Although it is very small, I still think that the type of relationship has been taking shape from now on," he concluded.
