Like his dad, Ricky Martin's twins love art life. "They love to be traveling," the 42-year-old singer told People magazine. “They are very musical children and they are like little artists. They are mini me!”
So if Matteo and Valentino, 5, decide to follow in the footsteps of their father in the artistic field, the Puerto Rican star will be their number one fan. "I don't know what will happen in the future, but what they choose and what they decide to do, I will be there supporting them," said the interpreter.
That goes for any other member who is added to the family, since Martin wants to enlarge it, this time with a "little princess".
"I want daddy's daughter," he said. “[Being a parent] improves everything. I'm just starting, I want more children!”
But for now, the singer's third “son” is the exploited children's help center of his foundation, which is due to open the doors in October.
"Children are being forced into prostitution and pornography, and what I am specifically trying to do at the center is bring in children who have already been explored," the singer explained.
So far, around 160 children have already been selected to attend the school, which focuses on the arts as an educational program. "We are going to offer a holistic approach in our education system and only offer them variety, rehabilitate them and let them know that there is a beautiful life beyond exploitation," he said.
With such a tight schedule, Martin has not had time to fall in love, however, he does not rule out the possibility of a new romance.
After ending his relationship with Carlos González Abella in January, the singer is looking for someone who "has the same vision in life" as him.
"I am a dreamer, so I want someone who is a little more realistic than I am … someone who can complement my creative madness and who can calm me down when I am in my creative chaos," he said. "I love commitment."
