The singer Luis Miguel was conspicuous by his absence in the appointment that he had pending this Wednesday before the prosecution in Mexico City to respond to a demand that his colleague Alejandro Fernández just filed.
The Mexican singer had to appear before the public prosecutor in the Mexican capital at 12:00 pm local time.
But according to the Mexican press, neither Luismi nor his lawyers showed up for the appointment. The only one who came was the Potrillo's lawyer.
One of the reasons that would explain the absence of the Sol de México, according to this information, is that the complaint includes an incorrect address to locate Luis Miguel Gallego Basteri, the name of the Mexican singer.
Now Fernández's attorneys must obtain a new address to deliver the summons to the defendant's attorneys.
The complaint responds to the cancellation of a failed musical tour planned for 2016.

"[Luis Miguel] should go to the appointment," an attorney for a well-known Mexico City law firm told People en Español, who declined to give his name.
"Now the public prosecutor's office can argue for the need for caution later on and they could summon him to an accusation formulation hearing before the control judge," he said. "Many lawyers try to go as attorneys but the authority does not accept it because it is a very personal diligence, in which the public ministry has the obligation to indicate their rights, what they are accused of, etc. But above all, respect the right to an adequate defense, "he added.
Now, assured the expert, the public prosecutor is going to "return to quote" Luis Miguel. "Even if after 3 citations he still doesn't go, they can ask the police to present him."
What if Luismi never shows up?
"The public prosecutor can continue with the investigation and later he will argue to the judge that an arrest warrant must be given because there is a need for caution, because [Luis Miguel] never appeared before the public prosecutor," he observed.
According to the LopezDoriga.com site, the lawsuit demands $ 4 million from Luis Miguel for being the amount that was allegedly advanced to him for the tour.
