In Medford, Oregon, authorities arrested a fifteen-year-old girl, accusing her of murdering her dad with the help of her boyfriend and another subject.
As reported by the Mail Tribune newspaper, Ellen Friar would have killed her father, Aaron Friar, with the help of two men (one of them her boyfriend) and later they would have stolen his car where they took his body to an empty lot where they abandoned him.
The victim's body, which was 50 years old, was discovered Monday and was taken to the medical examiner's office for an autopsy.
Justin Ivens, a lieutenant in the Police Department of that city, told the same media that, although they have not yet determined how the victim died, they do believe that he was killed on Monday morning.
Investigators proceeded to arrest Russell Jones, 22, the deceased's daughter and her boyfriend, Gavin MacFarlane, 19. All three are charged with murder, theft and tampering with evidence. However, MacFarlane is also accused of rape in the third degree, as it is believed that he had sexual relations with the young woman who is a minor.
Detectives run the theory that the father could have opposed the courtship between his daughter and MacFarlane, which led to the three conspiring to kill him.
The suspects will have their first court hearing on October 10, while they remain in detention without bail.
