Shakira offered her son Milan a private lesson in United States history during his recent stay in Washington DC, where they met to accompany the singer's boyfriend and the boy's father, the footballer Gerard Piqué, who was playing a game with the Spanish selection.
It was the same singer who shared the short video on social networks in which she improvises as a history teacher. With Milan in her arms, the Colombian is seen in front of the monument to Thomas Jefferson, third president of the United States.

The Colombian wrote next to the video: “Mom is explaining to Milan everything she knows about the Declaration of Independence. I am very interested in history!”
