Actress Teresa Castillo, one of the stars of the soap opera General Hospital (ABC), welcomed her first daughter with her husband Shane Aaron in Los Angeles, the mother confirmed to People on Tuesday.
Castillo said her daughter Victoria Milani - her middle name honors her father's Hawaiian roots - weighed 7 pounds, 2 ounces, and was 20 inches long.
"We are extremely happy to finally have our little daughter in our arms," said the 30-year-old actress.
Although he knew that a girl was on the way, Castillo assured that nothing could prepare her for the moment when she first saw her baby last week.
"It was completely surreal. I could not believe that this was the person who lived in my belly for nine months, "he said. "It was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen."
Aaron did not miss the moment of delivery. "Shane was by my side throughout this experience - cheering me on, taking care of me," Castillo shared.
What is next on the agenda for the happy couple? "Spend the summer loving our little daughter," said the happy mom.
