Alejandra Espinoza: "I Want Five Children, But My Husband Wants Two"

At 26 years old, Alejandra Espinoza thinks about motherhood, but it is clear that her time to have children has not yet come.

"I want to achieve many things in my life," says the giant Saturday model and co-host of El Gordo y la Flaca, both from Univision.

"I will achieve everything that I set out to do because I am very positive." Although the Mexican dreams of one day having her own talk show, she does not neglect her role as a wife. "I am a very good wife," laughs Espinoza, who said yes in 2011 to the Puerto Rican choreographer Aníbal Marrero, 36. “I cook him, I iron him, I wash him. I try to please him.”

She anticipates that she will also be a good mother, but for now she is focused on her work. Although he sometimes comes home already at bedtime and travels frequently, Espinoza sees this stage as one of sowing fruit.

"He knows that I am in a process of growth and if I have to work 24 hours a day, he understands me," she adds of her husband, who also works at Univisión. "I am trying to forge a future for both of us and for our children."

Ones that will arrive once they both feel ready. “I come from a very large family. I have nine siblings and I love children, "says Espinoza. "I do want [babies] in the future, in about two years. I want the children to come when I have time to raise them, not to be the babysitter who raises them. I want to be there and be a dedicated mom.”

And he plans to do multiple orders for the stork. "I want five children but my husband wants two," she says, "so we came to an agreement that there will be three."
