Empire Of Lies: Meet The Cast Of The New Televisa Soap Opera

The phenomenon of Turkish soap operas lands on Televisa with Imperio de mentiras, Kara's Mexican adaptation for ask - known in the Spanish market as Dinero dirty and love -, a police drama that became one of the most watched fictions in 2014 his country of origin, Turkey.

The soap opera is in charge of Giselle González, the well-known producer responsible for successful titles such as Yo no creo en los hombres, La candidata and, more recently, Cuna de lobos; and it has as protagonist couple two very dear faces of Televisa: Angelique Boyer and Andrés Palacios, who headed last year the new version of La usurpadora.

“It is a different story. It has a police tone, it has a more realistic tone to what I have been doing, but it also has a great super-romantic love story,”the actress recently announced in an interview with Televisa Espectáculos.

Boyer and Palacios will be wrapped in this story by a first-rate cast that includes two first actors such as Leticia Calderón and Alejandro Camacho, who just returned to Televisa 5 years after recording their last soap opera at the company, I don't think in men.

Along with them will be the Mexican actress Susana González, who had an outstanding participation last year in the successful soap opera My husband has more family.

Among the younger cast include Alejandra Robles Gil, Roberto Romano, Iván Arana, who gave life to the son of Aurelio Casillas (Rafael Amaya) in the successful Telemundo superseries The Lord of the Skies, and Scarlet Gruber, who recently participated in the TV series. Doctors, Lifeline.
