Grettell Valdez could not be more proud of her son Santino. At 11 years old, the charismatic boy promises to follow in the footsteps of her famous mother in the world of acting.

The first-born of the Mexican actress recorded last week on the Televisa San Ángel forums a small special participation in the telenovela Médicos, Línea de vida, a story in which Grettell acts as Dr. Ana Caballero and that will mark the debut of the little one in the TV.

"We have a guest of honor at the forum," shared the one who was the villain of successful soap operas such as What Life Stole from Me through her social networks.

The actress published several videos on Instagram Stories last weekend in which the minor can be seen getting ready to record his scenes in Doctors, Life Line.

"Well and here Santino doing his pininos in Doctors", Grettell boasted.

The fiction in which mother and son will work together for the first time was released in November of last year in Mexico and features the leading performances of Livia Brito and Daniel Arenas.

The soap opera focuses its plots on the Institute of Medical Specialties, one of the most prestigious hospitals in the country for the number of emergencies it serves and because it also houses the most experienced minds in each of the branches of medicine.

The story begins when during a major emergency, Dr. Lara, director of the Institute, denies the admission of a patient. This decision is the beginning of a series of fateful events, since the patient dies and one of his relatives decides to take revenge on the director. Faced with the need for a new director, the best candidate is Doctor Gonzalo Olmedo, a renowned Neurosurgeon who has dedicated his life to providing health and treatment to people in need.

Gonzalo's appointment is not to the liking of Doctor René Castillo, the Administrative Director of the Institute, since he used to take personal advantage through shady deals with suppliers and laboratories, among other acts of corruption. As soon as Gonzalo takes over, a sewer of mismanagement and irregularities is uncovered that makes him understand that the Institute is worse than he thought, but instead of giving up, he intends to work hard with his team of specialists, to implement a process of successful care.
