Marjorie de Sousa is back on Televisa. Three years after having headed the soap opera Sueño de amor with Cristián de la Fuente, the Venezuelan actress stepped on the Mexican television station again last week to participate in one of her programs.
“[I am] very happy to meet many people I love. This channel for me is something very important in my life, in my career”, the 39-year-old beautiful interpreter, who has close to 6 million followers on Instagram alone, declared excited before the cameras of Televisa Espectáculos.
Despite the fact that in the last two years she has been part of the ranks of Telemundo as an exclusive artist, Marjorie is in force on Televisa's screens thanks to the retransmission of the successful melodrama Amores verdaderos, a story that she antagonized in 2012 on the skin of Kendra Ferreti and that currently it is again in the first places of hearing in Mexico.
“I am happy and grateful to all the public because we are in the most watched programs in Mexico with true loves. We cannot believe it. We are very excited. […] I think it is a wonderful gift. This novel is already a few years old, however, the public has received it as if it were a new project and what can I tell you, infinite thanks for that,”he said.
New soap opera on Televisa?
Her participation in the program Más noche hosted by Israel Jaitovich would not have been the only reason that would have led the also heroine of the melodrama of Telemundo Across the Wall to recently return to Mexican television.
And it is that, as reported days ago by the Mexican reporter Luis Magaña in his column of the newspaper El Universal, the actress would be being contemplated by the producer Nicandro Díaz, with whom Marjorie worked on the successful melodramas Amores verdaderos and Hasta el fin del mundo, for star in his new soap opera, which has so far been titled El gringo y la mexicana.
