Demi Lovato - who will be singing the national anthem at the Super Bowl this Sunday - talked about coming out to her parents and how they reacted to her telling them she could see herself “ending up possibly with a woman.” In an interview with Andy Cohen for his Radio Andy show on SiriusXM, the singer, 27, talked about her sexuality and confessed she is “still figuring it out.”

She says she spoke candidly to her parents in 2017 about being attracted to women, too. "It was actually, like, emotional, but really beautiful," Lovato recalled. "After everything was done I was, like, shaking and crying, and I just felt overwhelmed."

Lovato's parents were supportive. "My dad was like, 'Yeah, obviously,'" she said. "And I was like, 'Oh OK, Dad.' My mom was the one that I was, like, super nervous about, but she was just like, 'I just want you to be happy.' That was so beautiful and amazing, and like I said, I'm so grateful.”

She revealed to Zane Lowe on New Music Daily for Apple Music's Beats 1 earlier this month that she looks forward to one day becoming a mom, but she's not sure what kind of family she will form. "I don't know what my future looks like," Lovato told Andy Cohen. “I don't know if I'm going to have kids this year or in 10 years. I don't know if I'm going to do it with a partner or without.”

After making her big comeback on the Grammys stage, where she sang the ballad “Anyone,” she showed her excitement on Instagram over her Super Bowl performance. I'm here in Miami! Ready for the Super Bowl !! Let's do this !!” she posted. Can't wait to watch!
