Wisin Talks About His Friendship With Yandel And Working Together Again

Wisin says his friendship with Yandel is still strong and they have recorded new music together. The Puerto Rican singers continue to reap success as solo artists but maintain a close relationship.

"It's a very healthy relationship, a professional relationship but also a very personal one, with respect and admiration," says Wisin to People en Español.

It's an exciting time for the fans of this former duo, as they will soon release new songs in which they recorded together. “There are two tracks, one for his album and one for mine. When I release my album, they will be able to listen to W with Yandel once again, which is a unique sound. My [song] is called 'You have' and his is a wonderful song that is called 'As before', which is a reggaeton, that is the sound that people want to hear,”he reveals.

After achieving international fame together - with songs like "You're Tempting Me." “Abusadora” and “Follow the leader” with Jennifer Lopez -the singers continue to top the charts on their own. Wisin recently released his new single “Vacations” from his album to be released in 2017, while Yandel continues to make noise with his track “Don't forget me” from his new album Dangerous.

“This year is a year of collaborations and good music because good music, nobody stops and [that] is what the public expects from us,” concludes Wisin, who despite the great challenges he has experienced with his family, has had great success in his career as a judge of the reality show La Banda and the release of the duet 'Duele el corazón”with Enrique Iglesias, among other achievements.
