Commentary can get boring during live events and that's where they comedian Leslie Jones comes in. Jones is back on Twitter sharing hilarious commentary of the Olympic Games.
Her entertaining tweets became a viral sensation and caught the attention of NBC Olympics executive producer Jim Bell, who then invited her to join the network in Rio. The Ghostbusters actress accepted the invite and she will now be attending the swimming, track and field, gymnastics, and beach volleyball events.
The tweets even had Olympic beach volleyball player Walsh Jennings laughing. I couldn't sleep after the last match. Someone was like, 'You need to go to Leslie Jones's Twitter' She kept me up for an hour,”said Jennings.
Jones had left Twitter last month after experiencing racist tweets started by a racist mob. The actress returned after the leader of the mob was permanently banned from the social media platform.
