The proper use of the Internet has bailed out many and the most recent case that has caught the attention is that of the 9-year-old boy who saved his grandmother's life thanks to a YouTube video.
Little Kian Aliffe was under the care of his grandmother Angela Jones, 51, when he heard a strange sound coming from the bathroom on the second floor in his house located in a community in the city of Llanelli, UK.
According to local media, the boy went to the bathroom and found his grandmother floating in the water with his eyes open after suffering a seizure from an epilepsy attack.
Immediately, Kian recalled a YouTube video showing how a girl was saved from drowning in a pool and proceeded to turn off the tap, take Grandma's head out of the water, and drain the bathroom so she wouldn't drown.
Once he knew he was safe, he ran to the next house to ask for help. However, no one answered. The boy, far from panicking, returned home and called the emergency number.
“We have been telling him that not all heroes wear cloaks and he is a hero. We are all incredibly proud of how brave he was,”the boy's mother, Hailey Davies, told the local press.
Angela is recovering in the hospital and the doctors affirm that if it were not for her grandson, the event could have ended in tragedy.
