Those who have seen the work On Your Feet! and admire the work of Ana Villafañe, they will be very happy to know that the actress born in Miami will arrive on the small screen very soon. This is thanks to a series on the CBS network and in which Villafañe will alternate with Brett Dier, one of Gina Rodríguez's fans in the Jane de Virgin (CW) series.

The History of Them has been described by the Deadline.com site as a "multicultural comedy" and its story begins with the future daughter of the protagonists who, upon discovering her parents' Twitter, Instagram and Facebook accounts, begins to narrate her story. Let's say it's kind of How I Met Your Mother - the hit comedy Neil Patrick Harris performed from 2005 to 2014 - but with a Latin flavor.

The production will be carried out by Gloria Calderón Kellett, to whom we owe the remake of One Day at a Time, with Justina Machado and the first actress Rita Moreno, currently available on Netflix.

According to the newspaper The Sun Sentinel, The History of Them has an autobiographical touch, since the main character of Villafañe - called Luna - manages a food truck in the series. And Calderón Kellett - who is responsible for the story script - runs that kind of business with his own parents in real life.
