He is the composer of songs like "Sin pijama" by Becky G and "Pa 'within" by Juanes, he is the husband of Evaluna Montaner, daughter of the famous singer Ricardo Montaner. But that's not all, Camilo also won a reality show in his native Colombia and gave up his dream of being a singer for a long time, why? The interpreter of "Favorite" told everything exclusively.

First, tell us about “Favorite”, a song that is now available on all digital platforms

Favorite is the second chapter of our love story. I had to go around the world a lot, eat everything, get to know and have different experiences to realize that my favorite place was Evaluna, that's what this song is about. I wanted to launch it at this right moment, because we are all together at home, without the possibility of traveling, so the video is an invitation to enjoy with us in what was the most beautiful trip of our lives.

How are you professionally right now?

I feel at the best moment of my life. I feel like a successful person as I do what I love with the people I love, sowing things I want to sow. What I do represents me, this last year has changed my life, I have pedaled for this dream more than ten years and I feel that in this year and a half more than things have happened that my whole life, I am very happy.

How were your beginnings?

There have been many processes to become what I am experiencing. I started very small at the age of 13 in a television program in Colombia called The X Factor in 2007, I won this contest and there I started a career for which I was not prepared, it only brought the dream of loving the profession of music and sound.

I was so poorly prepared that I didn't know where I was and decided to stop. I stopped and went into the study. In anonymity in the cloister and there [I stayed] helping other artists to find their sound and their message and finding mine again.

Who was the first artist you wrote a song to?

The first artist to record a song for me was Bomba stereo. A song called "International" and from that moment, that was the zero day of a puff of things that ended today.
