In the midst of this crisis due to the coronavirus pandemic, Yandel wanted to give his followers a little bit of good energy and a lot of reggaeton through his new "Espionage", a song produced by Nesty "The Master Mind", and where the singer was He accompanied Madison Anderson, Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2019. "Music is consumed by the public at home and they don't have to go out and buy it, they enjoy it," the Puerto Rican exclusively told People en Español.
How are you living this crisis?
We can't go out now. [But] my family is fine, we are all fine. I have my parents in Puerto Rico but I told them to stay locked up and I send them the boxes and the food and things that I can so they can rest easy.
The best weapon is to be calm. The networks have helped us a lot, before you thought you were changing the business, but they are doing it for good. I can work at home. I have my studio and I can produce and the music is consumed by the public at home and they don't have to go out and buy it, they enjoy it.
For this reason, at this moment "Espionage" falls like a ring to the finger
It is a theme [with which I return] to my reggaeton roots. With this song I want to give a little energy [to] my fans in these sad times. The video was recorded in Medellín, Colombia. I had the opportunity to share with Miss Universe Puerto Rico, she is the model, I think it is a video with a lot of professionalism and it looks quality, it is a great video.
What do you highlight about this work?
[When] 36 degrees who are the directors sent me the video, it was very interesting because the story of chance [we] recorded in a town that was all empty and there was nobody. The purpose of that video was to make it look like [nothing on the street] had happened, and when I saw the video I said 'that's what's going on.' It is an espionage where I want to have [the] information that [the model] has.
Enjoy with Yandel at home!
