Actor Idris Elba, who recently announced that he had tested positive for COVID-19, shared a message of relief in which he invited to stop spreading "ridiculous messages" about the pandemic that has turned the world upside down

In a Live through his Twitter account, he described as stupid and ridiculous the messages that have been shared on a chain through WhatsApp and other social platforms that claim that black people cannot contract the coronavirus.

“It scares me to see some of the comments and reactions of my black people, you can also get the coronavirus. There are so many stupid and ridiculous conspiracy theories that say no, that's silly and stupid; it's the fastest way to get more black people to die, he said.

He also responded to the criticism he has received that his wife Sabrina Dhowre Elba was close to him when it was confirmed that he was infected and assured that she wanted to always be by his side and support him in every step of the process.

Heimdall's interpreter in the movie Avengers: Infinity War thanked the support and positive energies of his followers in the process of his quarantine.

Regarding his health, he assured that he is well, that he still has no symptoms and that he undergoes temperature tests at least twice a day to follow his evolution. As for his wife, he clarified that she is worried and nervous, but that she is also fine.
