As reported by CNN, the death toll from the dangerous new coronavirus outbreak is already nearly two thousand people, 1,868 to be exact according to official figures.
Outside of China, five other deaths were confirmed in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, the Philippines and France, bringing the global death toll from this contagious disease to 1,873.

The number of infected is already around 74,000 people and 99 other new cases have been confirmed aboard the Diamond Princess quarantined yacht in Japan . The United States has evacuated more than three hundred Americans from the ship. Canada, Italy and Hong Kong are doing the same to help their citizens.
The Hong Kong Department of Health announced that it will try two people suspected of breaking the mandatory quarantine.
In a statement released today, the department recalled that the quarantine began on February 8 and four citizens have already attempted to leave the city. Under government-imposed rules, the two suspects awaiting trial face a penalty of more than $ 3,000 each and up to six months in prison.
Recently, at least 140 travelers trying to enter the country were denied entry to the United States, 14 at different airports and 126 at other customs, according to the Department of Homeland Security.
Michael Ryan, executive director of the World Health Organization's emergency program, did not want to define the coronavirus as a pandemic, since according to experts: "the infections are not too many outside of China."
