The appearance of pigeons with cowboy hats in Las Vegas has caused a commotion. Videos and photos of pigeons in tiny red hats have gone viral. Bobby Lee, a Las Vegas resident, shared a video of two pigeons in striking red hats and has been dubbed 'Cluck Norris' and 'Coolamity Jane' by the community. Although the birds have caused fascination and many laugh at the occurrence of wearing a hat, the mystery of who put the hats on and why remains unresolved.

Lofty Hopes, a non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing birds, has tried to capture pigeons to remove their hats as this can be harmful to their health and well-being. Lofty Hopes posted a message on Facebook expressing his concern over this act of cruelty to animals.

"Obviously it is glued on because it has stayed on his head for several days and there are feathers caught in the glue between the hat and his head," says the message. "You can see in the video that the hat bothers him and he wants to take it off."

The organization asked Las Vegas residents not to feed these pigeons with cowboy hats as they would not enter the Lofty Hopes traps if they are not hungry. They also asked the community to call the organization's number if they see these birds. They have been close to capturing them in several attempts, but have not had any luck yet.
