Her name is Faith, but from now on she will also be known as the "miracle baby". The seven-month-old girl survived the LeBarón family massacre that took place this past Monday in Chihuahua and in which three women, four children and two babies died.
Among them, Faith's mother, Christina Marie Langford, 29, who was one of the first to be shot by attackers. Before, she had time to put her daughter in a safe place. The little girl, who perished next to her, was found in the van, sitting in her chair at the bottom of the seat and without a bruise. The bullet holes were embedded in the seats that never touched it.
Faith is already in the arms of her father Tyler, as shown by this emotional photo that her grandmother, Connie LeBarón, shared on Facebook shortly after the meeting. "My son Tyler was just reunited with his baby Faith," he wrote. "He is a living angel who has brought hope to the family."
The little girl is one of the 8 children who survived the massacre, some of them still in hospital due to the injuries they present. Tragedy struck again this family of farmers who fell victim to organized crime after the head of the household, Julián LeBarón, rose up against the violence of these groups openly.
