A fight between a mother and daughter ended in brutal violence. Christian Lydia Martínez, 25, is accused of breaking her mother's skull with a crucifix. According to the authorities' report, the young woman, originally from Texas, hit her mother hard on the head with the crucifix until fracturing her skull. The Smoking Gun reported that the young defendant and the 45-year-old mother began arguing after the daughter allegedly came home after spending the day drinking alcohol in San Antonio.
The report adds that during the fight between the two, Martínez grabbed a crucifix that was on the wall and began to hit his mother with this sacred object. The mother was rushed to the hospital where she was treated after suffering a fractured skull. The New York Post reports that the daughter was arrested, faces aggravated assault charges, and received bail of $ 30,000. The case remains under investigation.
