First it was Prince Harry who a few days ago broke in public when talking about his wife and son. Now it has been Meghan Markle who has been unable to contain the tears in a sincere interview. As we have rarely seen a member of the royal house, the Duchess of Sussex has shared the hard experience she is experiencing after the harassment and demolition of some media.
"Not many people have asked me if I'm okay, but my fight is something very real that happens behind the scenes," confessed journalist Tom Bradby in an exclusive interview for the British channel ITV.
The constant attacks added to her recent motherhood have not exactly made it easy for her to lead a quiet, 100 percent happy and carefree life with her family.
"Any woman, especially when she is pregnant, is really vulnerable, so it was a challenge, and then when you have a newborn, you know, especially as a woman, it is a lot," she declared honestly and with a broken voice before this reality that faces every day.
The interview, which was conducted during the couple's tour in Africa, also touches on sensitive topics such as Lady Di, a loss that remains undiminished and which, as Harry expresses in this report, is also "a wound that oozes."
After the media harassment that haunts his wife since they have been together and especially after her motherhood, Harry expressed to the media in a statement that he did not want to go through the same pain that he experienced as a child with his mother. The village princess, as everyone called her, was the victim of a relentless persecution that ended her life under a Paris bridge.
"I lost my mother and now my wife is the victim of the same powerful forces," he wrote. Their goal is to be able to put an end to so much expectation and start a happy life as a couple with their little Archie. They are aware of the interest they arouse and so accept it, what they will not allow is that the limits of dignity are crossed. So if they have to go to court, as they have already done, they will not hesitate to get down to business.
