A man preparing to bury his deceased daughter made a macabre discovery when he found a newborn baby buried and alive in an Indian cemetery.
"[The man] had gone to bury his own daughter and was digging the grave when his shovel hit an earthen jar," Abhinandan Singh, superintendent of police for the city of Bareilly, in the northern state of Uttar, explained Monday. Pradesh where the events occurred.
