Two California teachers created seesaws on the border wall between Mexico and the United States to allow children from both countries to play with each other.

Ronald Rael, professor of architecture at the University of California, Berkeley, and Virginia San Fratello, assistant professor at San Jose State University in California, came up with the idea of creating a wall for this statue in 2009. However, the idea took its toll. life and it came true ten years later.

On Monday, three pink seesaws were attached to the gigantic steel border wall in Sunland Park, New Mexico.

"One of the most incredible experiences of my career and that of [Virginia San Fratello] that brings the conceptual drawings of the 2009 Teetertotter Wall to life in an event full of joy, excitement and unity on the border wall," wrote Rael on Instagram..

“The wall became a literal foothold for relations between the United States and Mexico, and children and adults connected significantly on both sides with the recognition that actions taking place on one side have a direct consequence on the other side”, he expressed.

In a video posted on Rael's Instagram page, several kids are seen happily jumping up and down on the rockers.

As the work of Rael and San Fratello is celebrated and grabbing headlines, Trump continues to fight for the construction of a dividing wall on the border.

Wow! Great VICTORY on the Wall. The United States Supreme Court annuls the lower court's mandate, allowing the southern border wall to continue. Big PROFIT for Border Security and the Rule of Law!”He wrote on Twitter.
