An 11-year-old boy lost his life in the British city of Wales when his mother collided in the vehicle in which they were both traveling when a spider fell on her hand, according to local sources.

Cloud Younger was traveling with his sons Tristan and Branwen Silver when suddenly the arachnid fell on his left hand causing his daughter to scream, according to the BBC in London.

The mother assures that the minor became "hysterical" and that she tried to calm her daughter but that she was distracted and ended up in the opposite lane crashing into a trailer.

Her son Tristan, who was riding in the back seat, took the brunt of the impact with multiple injuries including a serious one to the skull. The minor was taken by air ambulance to Cardiff Regional Hospital where he died.

"It all happened in an instant," said David Glyndwr Jones, the trailer's driver, who claims that his vehicle was almost stopped at the moment of impact. “First I was kind of lurching over the dividing line, with a quarter of the vehicle on the wrong side. Then it fell on me and I realized that it would not stop, "the man assured the aforementioned chain. “All this happened in about 6 seconds, I barely had enough time to notify my wife and protect myself. I am devastated by what happened.”

Despite the fact that the accident occurred in May until this Wednesday, the authorities were able to reach a conclusion in the investigations of the fatal accident.

"[The] operator [of the vehicle] panicked and collided: woman crashes after seeing a spider," said the police report released in part by USA Today.

"It is an extremely sad tragedy," said Colonel Peter Brunton, clarifying that there are no charges against the mother.
