Mexican baseball player Julio Urías was arrested for domestic violence, according to reports. The pitcher for the popular Los Angeles Dodgers team was arrested Monday night. According to TMZ, the 22-year-old was detained at the luxurious Beverly Center shopping center in Los Angeles. Witnesses called the police, saying that the athlete had pushed a woman to the ground after arguing with her in the parking lot.

The woman assured the police that they had argued but that the discussion was only verbal, without physical damage. Witnesses and security cameras there show that Urías did push her, according to reports.

The baseball star - who started his professional career at age 19 - was arrested and spent the night in jail. Urías was charged with a domestic violence misdemeanor and was released Tuesday after posting $ 20,000 bail.
