Teen Tortures And Kills His 5-year-old Brother

A teenage girl in Brazil confessed to torturing her 5-year-old brother to death and eating the boy's severed penis, police said. The New York Post reports that authorities are investigating whether the horrendous crime of 18-year-old Karina Roque, who killed her brother Maycon Roque, was part of some satanic or cannibalistic ritual. The body of the minor was found on the floor surrounded by candles.

On Thursday the boy's mother, whose identity has not been released, found him dead and mutilated with his older sister by his side at his home in Sao Roque. Maycon's small body had been savagely tortured, had been partially decapitated, and had been stabbed in the eyes and other parts of the body. Furthermore, the child's feet had been burned. The sister confessed that she had cut off his genitals to eat.

According to the authorities, the mother had gone shopping and had left the child in the care of her older sister. Returning a few hours later, the horrible crime was found. Her daughter did not want to open the door for her, but a relative who lives nearby kicked the door until she broke it. The mother passed out when she saw what happened. The teenager tried to escape but her uncle and other family members detained her.

Authorities report that the young woman bit her dog when he attacked her while trying to escape from the home. Karina confessed that she had drowned the boy with a pillow before beginning to mutilate his body. According to forensic studies, the minor had already died before his body was tortured in this apparent cannibal ritual. Police check the young woman's cell phone, which was burned, perhaps to try to destroy evidence. Karina is incarcerated in Sao Paolo and the alarming case is still under investigation.
