The laws of nature have once again been rebuked by man. A bear and his cubs have been killed by a father and son while the family of animals hibernated at their shelter on the island of Esther, Alaska.

The terrible act was caught on camera without the perpetrators of the events being aware of it. The video was taken by the US Forest Service and the Alaska Department of Fish and Game that were studying the behavior of these black bears.

A cruel images in which you can see the father and son celebrating the death of these innocent creatures. "They will never be able to connect us with this," says one of them, all proud of his gesture.

So much so that before cutting them up, he decides to take a photo of himself at the scene. The recording has come to light thanks to the organization Human Society that is in charge of animal defense.

Also thanks to these cameras, these two poachers, Andrew Renner and his son, Owen, have been identified. Both were sentenced to prison terms, although the 18-year-old was able to free himself in exchange for carrying out social services. The sentence was made public last January, although the events were carried out in April 2018.

On the other hand, the father was sentenced to spend three months in prison, paying a fine of $ 9,000 and returning the equipment, weapons, skis, boat and others used in this terrifying operation. In addition, both their hunting licenses were withdrawn.

The Human Society publicly denounces this brutality and highlights the importance of strengthening surveillance measures and maintaining the prohibition of these practices in forest reserves in order to fight against animal cruelty.
