Church Burns, Bibles Are Saved

A raging fire swept through a church in West Virginia, but something unexpected happened. The church was burned, but the bibles were saved.

During the terrible fire that broke out at Freedom Ministries Church in Grandview, West Virginia, firefighters couldn't understand what they had found, according to the New York PIX11 News news page.

The Coal City Fire Department explained in a post on its Facebook account that the fire that broke out was so intense that the troops or firefighters had to withdraw at one point. The flames had destroyed the building.

The PIX11 News note explains that the fire department began to enter the building, already in charred rubble, to meet with a great surprise. Although they thought they would only find ash and destruction, there were a few things that remained intact. “In your mind, everything must be burned, in ashes. Not a single one of the bibles was burned and no cross was damaged,”they wrote on the Fire Department's Facebook page.

Incredible but true. Even, to accompany its publication, the members of the fire department shared a photo of the bibles that were really in good condition. In a way, intact inside the burned building.

In addition, the note from the PIX11 News portal indicates that during the operation, none of the Coal City firefighters suffered any damage. There were no firefighters injured while the fire was putting out. What has not yet been clarified is what caused or caused the terrible fire that destroyed the church.
