The police conducted a search at a landfill in Corona, California, last Monday in hopes of finding the body of a six-month-old baby who went missing in January, People reports.

The body of the minor, identified as Jacsun Manson, was not found, so the police would plan to carry out the search another day. However, the parents of the minor, identified as Adam Manson and Kianna Williams, were issued an arrest warrant, Troy Dunlap, a Culver City police lieutenant, reported to People.

The People note explains that according to a Los Angeles Times review, the couple have been in police custody since January 3 because they are suspected of having stolen a car.

Detectives who have worked on the case believe the parents of the boy of just six months are responsible for Jascun's disappearance and death, Culver City police said in a statement.

In addition, in the press report that People reviews, it is explained that the agents believe that "after his death, Adam and Kianna disposed of Jacsun's body in a garbage container near the Crenshaw Mall in Los Angeles."

The People note says that according to the ABC 7 newscast, the garbage container was empty at the El Sobrante landfill, located in the Corona sector. More than 20 police and volunteers appeared at the scene to carry out the search on Monday. The baby was last seen with his parents on December 31, in a stolen vehicle.
