Florida traffic police have finally confirmed the names of the 7 fatalities who lost their lives in Thursday's chain accident. It is about five children and two adults. The terrible event occurred when five vehicles collided, triggering a fire that made it impossible to save the victims.
One of the vans was from a church on the way with several children to Disney World. Unfortunately Joel Cloud, 14, Jeremiah Warren, 14, Cierra Bordelan, 9, Cara Descant, 13, and Brieana Descant, 10, did not live to tell the tale.
The official statement shared by the police does not specify whether the children were wearing seat belts. What is confirmed is that the driver of the van, Ami Joffiron, remains seriously injured.
A luck that was not the same for the drivers of the other vehicles that died in the accident. The investigation is ongoing to find out exactly what were the real causes of this horrible accident.
There are more people who have miraculously saved their lives, such as Sister Karen Descant, wife of one of the pastors of the United Pentecostal Church. Despite the blows, the woman has survived this fatality just like another who is pregnant.
The rest of the children who were in the van, four in particular, have also been left unharmed but are under medical care recovering from various injuries they present after the impact.
