Man Is Accused Of Killing The Mother Of His Baby

Patrick Frazee, the Colorado man accused of killing his fiancée and mother of his 1-year-old baby, is behind bars and facing several criminal charges. Kelsey Berreth, 29, went missing and authorities believe she was killed by Frazee, but her body has not yet been found.

Investigators in the case allege that her 32-year-old fiancé sought help from others in his alleged plan to assassinate Berreth. The young mother was last seen in public on Thanksgiving Day when a security video caught her walking into a local market with her baby.

Frazee, who was not living with her partner, told authorities that he had met her that day to leave her daughter. Berreth's mother, who lives in another state, reported her as missing 10 days later, on December 2. Frazee was arrested on December 21 on suspicion of having committed the murder. The man remains in jail without bail.

Investigators have not disclosed the possible motive for the crime. The baby is now meeting her mother's family, according to police. Relatives of the young mother claim that she had broken her relationship with her daughter's father a few weeks before she disappeared. Others allege that they ended on Thanksgiving day, when she was allegedly killed.

Frazee will return to court this Friday. If found guilty, he could spend the rest of his days in prison.
