A Woman Commits Suicide In New York, Her Friend Saw Everything From The Security Camera

A woman jumped to her death from the 11th floor of a Manhattan building on Monday, as her friend, who was on her way to the airport apartment, saw her through her surveillance camera the moment she jumped around 8 a.m.: 50 am, reports The New York Post.

Constance Tyler, 51, a California resident, was visiting New York and stayed at her friend's apartment located near 36th Street and Park Ave. The woman had a history of mental problems and was having financial difficulties since that he had filed for bankruptcy in November last year, sources revealed.

The friend tried to contact her on the phone, and when she did not respond, he became concerned and turned on the dog camera he has inside the apartment, sources said. It was then that he saw her opening the window and jumping.

According to residents of the Murray Hill rental complex, the woman frequently visited her friend's apartment to take care of herself and the dogs of some people in the vicinity.

Tyler fell into a courtyard at the rear of the 19-story building, adjacent to the Morgan Library and Museum, according to police. She was pronounced dead at the scene, and her body was removed around 10:20 am

Sources said he did not leave a note. Criminality is not suspected.
