Video Captures Emergency Landing Of Post Malone Plane

Rapper Post Malone, 23, was one of 16 passengers traveling in a private jet that had to crash land in New York state, after two of the tires exploded when the aircraft took off.

"My God. I hate flying in general. I don't even know what to say. I'm in shock," said the singer moments after the emergency was controlled. "Impressive the crew of the plane … We are on the ground. I need some beer. I need some wine," added the hip hop star in his comments.

Through a video posted on the TMZ online site, the exact moment of landing can be seen. "Let's pray for these people," a woman who witnessed what happened at Stewart International Airport in New Windsor, near New York City, is heard saying in the clip.

After the incident, Malone also turned to his social networks to let his millions of followers know that he was safe. "I landed guys. Thanks for your prayers," he said through his Twitter account. "I can't believe how many people wished me death through this medium. Jodan.. Today it won't be," added the singer.

The luxury plane had departed from New Jersey's Teterboro Airport around 10:50 am and was destined for the city of London. After the pilot of the jet became aware of the explosion of the tires, the decision was made to fly in circles to consume the gasoline and thus avoid an explosion when the ship touched down again.

Although the initial emergency plan was for the aircraft to land at the same air terminal from which it departed, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) authorities determined that the descent should be made at a nearby airport.

Malone starred in the MTV Video Music Awards' most recent awards night, as he was the winner of one of the night's biggest categories: Song of the Year for "Rockstar."
