Hundreds of people were terrified of the murder of Lesandro Junior Guzmán Feliz, the young Dominican who was hacked to death in June 2018 on the corner of a store in Bronx County, New York.

Who Was Lesandro Junior?

The young man, known to his friends as Junior, had a clean record, and dreamed of one day joining the ranks of the New York Police Department.

Lesandro lived at the end of the block from the warehouse where he was brutally murdered.

Junior was part of the NYPD Law Enforcemente Explorers, a program that gives young people - men and women - the opportunity to explore a career in the field of law.

"He dreamed of being a police officer from a young age," said Junior's father, Lesandro Guzmán.

“He was a happy boy, he was my son and my best friend. We were very confident, added Guzmán.

Celebrities like Cardi B and Rihanna have expressed their regret in the networks for the death of the young man. “I can't stop thinking about this poor boy and how his family must feel. I am praying that you will be healed and justice for Junior”, published the interpreter of“Umbrella”.

For her part, Cardi B expressed: “This made me cry. Madam, I know that your nights have been long [and] sad. Maybe she cries and wakes up thinking that [everything] was a nightmare. Soon [you] will feel more protected because you will feel [your] child and you will see signs that she is with you. May your family have peace soon and may God always have your child in her glory."
