Tragedy has engulfed the family of a German prince who had moved to England to live with his partner and who died after falling off a horse.
The incident occurred this Saturday when Prince Georg-Constantin of Saxe-Weimar-Eisenach, 41, was riding the equine on the property of his friend Jean Christophe Iseux, Baron von Pfetten, in Apethorpe, Northamptonshire.
According to the Daily Mail, police and rescue teams rushed to the farm after receiving an emergency call at around 8:30 pm, where it was reported that a man had suffered serious injuries. He later passed away.
The accident is even more dramatic because the member of the House of Wettin was an expert rider and because the accident happened right at the place where he supposedly asked the British model Olivia Rachelle Paige for her hand. The couple married in 2015 in Weimar.
