At least 62 people have lost their lives in Guatemala after the Fuego volcano erupted and covered the area around it with ashes. As revealed by CNN en Español through its online site, around 1.7 million inhabitants of the Central American country would have been affected after the event that occurred on Sunday, June 3.
Heartbreaking images of what happened during the eruption of the volcano, located just kilometers from the historic city of Antigua Guatemala, have been shared on the networks and detail the moments of horror experienced by the inhabitants of the region.
Multiple entertainment stars have also turned to their networks to express their solidarity with Guatemala after the fateful tragedy that has shocked the entire world.
