The brother of the author of the shooting at the Marjory Stoneman Douglas school in Parkland, Florida, was arrested Monday for trespassing on the campus of the school where the shooting occurred.

Zachary Cruz, 18, was arrested when found skating by the school, despite receiving warnings to stay away from that property.

According to the Associated Press, security cameras captured the young man in the vicinity of the campus around 4:30 pm Cruz told police that he was at school because "he wanted to reflect on the shooting that occurred at the school and absorb it all."

The teenager was released after posting bail from a massacre at that school - from which he had been expelled - which resulted in the death of 14 students and three teachers.

Just a couple of days ago, Zachary was seen crying as he listened to the charges that were read to his brother in court.

Nikolas and Zachary Cruz were adopted by a Long Island couple who moved to Parkland. The young boys' adoptive father died years ago and their adoptive mother passed away from influenza last November. Since then they both lived with friends.

Both Nikolas and Zachary were the cause of multiple calls to the police, who reportedly went to the family's home on at least 35 occasions in response to reports of acts of violence, aggressive behavior and other problems. The boys had displayed "erratic," "out of control," "throwing objects," and had even run away from home, according to Buzzfeed.

Police reports specify that both Nikolas and Zachary suffered from mental problems, including attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), that they were taking medication for it and that they had attended a school for children with behavioral problems.
