Brother Of Las Vegas Killer Arrested

Los Angeles police yesterday arrested Bruce Paddock, brother of the prime suspect in the Las Vegas massacre (Stephen Paddock) for possession of child pornography.

As reported by CNN in Spanish, the 59-year-old subject faces 20 charges ranging from sexual exploitation of a minor to possession of child pornography.

The police report indicates that between January and August 2014, Paddock owned and exchanged more than 600 photographs showing children under the age of 18 participating in or simulating sexual activity. At least 10 of those images depicted children under the age of 12.

At the time of the investigation, in which even the FBI was involved, Paddock was kept in hiding but was recently located in North Hollywood, where he was arrested and posted bail of $ 60,000.

Authorities said this is not the first time that the suspect has had trouble with the law, having previously served three different sentences for crimes ranging from vandalism to criminal threats and theft.

It should be clarified that this is not the same brother of the Las Vegas killer who was giving statements to the press as a result of that massacre that killed 58 people and left hundreds more wounded. His name is Eric Paddock and he lives in Orlando, Florida.

In the past Bruce Paddock was the president of a business called Auto Emissions Specialists Inc. in Santa Clarita, about a 45-minute drive from Los Angeles.
