The case of Crystal Gadlin, a 32-year-old mother, has shocked the community of the city of Memphis, in the state of Tennessee, since she was arrested for planning a macabre crime in order to collect life insurance from her couple.
As reported by People magazine in a report on her online site, the woman would have tried to hire her ex-partner and father of her children to end the life of her current fiancé in exchange for tido right after she married her partner, which would allow him to collect a significant sum of money from life insurance.
What the heartless woman did not expect is that her own ex-partner was the one who reported her to the authorities. According to what is added, before the aberrant offer that the mother of her children was making to her, the man decided to record the conversation to present it as evidence to the police.
When the woman was arrested, in her defense she assured that the conversation with her ex-partner had taken place at a time when she was "drugged and intoxicated with cocaine."
Gadlin is in custody and faces charges of conspiracy to commit a first-degree murder, according to information confirmed by the Memphis Police Department. A bond of $ 200,000 was imposed on her so that she can regain her freedom as investigations of the case progress.
