Another horror story lived in a family has been confirmed in California, this time, in a rural community of San Bernardino. There, a couple were arrested and charged with child cruelty after discovering that for four years they kept their three children living in a box only four feet tall that did not have electricity or electricity.

Mona Kirk, 51, and Daniel Panico, 73, were arrested Wednesday after elements of the Morongo Basin sheriff's office inspected the home and discovered the three minors on the property that was awash with trash and feces.

Following Kirk and Panico's arrest, the three minors were placed at the disposal of the San Bernardino Child Protection Service.

For his part, the couple remains at the Morongo Sheriff's station, accused of "deliberate child cruelty." His bail has been set at $ 100,000.
