Spanish bullfighter Iván Fandiño died after receiving a goring that a bull hit him on the back during a bullfight in a square in the south of France.
Fandiño, 36, was performing his maneuvers with the bull when he tripped on his cape. When he fell to the ground, the bull hit him with his horn, causing a fatal wound at the level of the kidney, reports the newspaper El Mundo. "Hurry up because I'm dying," were the words of Fandiño, who ran to the rescue to be able to immediately remove him from the Plaza de Aire-sur-l'Adour, according to the newspaper.
The bullfighter's gesture of pain when he received the attack of the animal was captured by photographers and videographers who covered the event. Some media describe the event as heartbreaking. Besides, Fandiñose was seen bleeding.

After being reviewed in the infirmary of the compound and realizing his delicate state of health, the bullfighter was immediately transferred to the Mont de Marsan hospital, but he did not arrive alive at said medical institution. "We soon realized that it was serious, but we did not think it was fatal," an assistant to the bullfight told the EFE agency. Another revealed that the bullfighter could hardly breathe when he was carried on a stretcher. Even, El Mundo reports that on the way to the hospital he suffered two cardiac arrests.
On the other hand, in this image from his official press account on Instagram reproduced above, the bullfighter is seen carried on his shoulders, a sign of admiration by fans of this type of competition. Until now, that account has not been updated with the information of his death.
