Man Arrested For Facebook Video Abusing Girl

A 44-year-old man and his fiancé were arrested in Alabama for posting a video on Facebook that shows the moment a 6-year-old girl was sexually abused and went viral on social media.

The unit of combat against crimes against minors of the central part of Alabama announced on Monday the arrest of Germaine Moore, resident in Millbrook, which occurred thanks to a huge campaign in the media to locate him.

The video shows how Moore forced the girl to perform oral sex on her while recording her. "We are definitely glad that he is in custody," Lt. Brooke Walker told AL.com. "I've been doing this for years and [this guy definitely] was in the lead."

The minor that appears in the video has already been located and saved by the authorities, as reported. Now Moore faces charges of sexual assault of a minor, broadcast of a video of the assault, and first-degree criminal sexual conduct.

Tonya Hardy's fiancee was also arrested for refusing to cooperate with authorities to locate her boyfriend and make his arrest. According to her social networks, the woman planned to marry Moore this year.

According to FOX News, the suspect has a criminal record that includes allegations of abusing three more girls in the states of Alabama and Detroit between 2011 and 2017.

Jerrell Washington, 42, was also arrested in connection with the events, and now faces charges of possession and dissemination of child pornography, after he shared the video clip online. All three suspects remain in an Elmore County Jail.
