Larry Nassar, who was the physician for the United States gymnastics team, was sentenced to 175 years in prison for child and female abuse.

After several days that the prosecution had to present their evidence and listen to the testimonies of some of the victims of these cases that occurred for years, People reports that Judge Rosemarie Aquilina, from a Michigan court, sentenced the doctor who committed these atrocious abuses against young girls.

"Their crimes have cut the marrow [to the depths] of our community and families and many that we do not know," Aquilina said before issuing the sentence. "There was no medical treatment. You did this for pleasure and for control. You think that somehow you are right…”, he established.

Then, the judge used all the power that the law gives her to issue the verdict. Well, you know what Larry, I have my power and my voice, and I'm going to use it.”
