He was walking his dogs when a woman was brutally murdered this week by a neighbor who believed she was mistaken for a deer. This is Rosemary Billquist, 43, who after arriving from work was encouraged to take a walk with her farmers, Sugar and Stella, in the field behind their house.
Her husband Jamie stayed home waiting for his wife. Soon after, she heard the dogs bark and discovered from a neighbor that her wife had been shot in the hip, according to The Buffalo News.
It was all accidental. Rosemary was shot by Thomas B. Jadlowski, who assured police that she thought she was aiming at a deer with her gun. He himself was guilty of this act when he heard a scream that quickly called the ambulance and pressed hard on his neighbor's wound.
Although they tried to do their best, it was too deep and it was impossible to save her. Her husband affirmed it as PEOPLE collects. "They tried to save. But it was very bad. It is awful. This will stay with me the rest of my life, "he said sadly.
At the moment there are no charges against Jadlowski, the man has been cooperating with authorities during the investigation as indicated by the NBC Chicago network.
During Thanksgiving Jamie expressed his sadness and love for his wife. "I want to thank them from my heart, it means a lot to me and I know that she has touched many lives with her kindness and would help anyone despite everything," she wrote on her social network Facebook.
The message ended with a dedication to his wife. "Rosemary Jafarjian-Billquist I will miss you and love you forever and I know that you will be dancing in heaven with your mother and all our friends and family that we have lost," he wrote.
He also had a few words for his wife's killer. "I think you need to learn a lesson. There are rules. You should stick to them. This is very annoying. It is a decision of seconds that the rest of his life will regret,”he assured the same newspaper. “She had a lot to do. Her life was very short, "she added.
The investigation is ongoing, while details are being prepared for the funeral of the deceased that will take place this coming Wednesday.
