Woman's Remains Found In A Fridge

A 34-year-old Kansas man was arrested after police allegedly found him living in a warehouse with his two young girls and a cooler that contained the remains of his wife's dismembered body, People confirmed.

An agent told the magazine that criminal charges have not yet been filed against the suspect, Justin Rey, in relation to the death of Jessica Monteiro Rey, whose remains were allegedly found in the cooler.

According to authorities, the police in the town of Lenexa received a complaint on October 26, in which it was said that there was an individual sleeping in a rental warehouse unit. Upon arriving in person, they found Rey with his two daughters, a girl and a baby just five days old. In the place there were no food or diapers for the children, according to the police account.

A person who wanted to remain anonymous told local channel FOX4 that Rey and the girls were found in a restaurant in the area, and they immediately realized that they were in trouble. So, after the suspect explained that the mother had died in childbirth, they agreed to take him with the little ones to a train station.

He first asked them to take him to a rental warehouse of the Uhaul company, where he had to collect his belongings. Always according to this anonymous witness, Rey left the warehouse with a portable refrigerator that gave off a brown liquid. Soon after, the police arrived.

The suspect told authorities that his wife died giving birth in a Missouri motel. For now, charges have been charged for putting minors at risk.
